Pride Hanover in partnership with Hanover Unity Council and in conjunction with Hanover Community Services are embarking on workshops and discussion to assist in building a unified community.

Join us for Compassionate Conversations at the Hanover COA. Each month we will discuss topics relative to the community, its members and questions people may have about them.

Many of us were brought up being taught not to discuss what appeared to be differences with others but this hinders what we have in common. These meetings will do both in a structured environment. A space where questions or confusion on issues will not be taken as an attach but used as a chance to educate, inform, and build community.

These meetings will be facilitated by Tammy Murray, LCSW. Each hour will cover a specific topic or topics. Some topics may include guest speakers. If you have a topic you would like included, please contact Tammy at (781) 924-1913.

This first session is hosted by Hanover Pride and will talk about such things as learning basic terminology, sex/sexuality vs. gender/gender identity, how to ask someone their pronouns.
