The Cohasset Diversity Committee

A Member of the South Shore Unity Council

Cohasset middle school and high school students are DC-bound!

Thanks to All who Attended Cohasset’s Mosaic!

On April 10, 2025 we gathered at Cohasset High School to celebrate the differences that make our community amazing. Thank you to those who made the third annual Mosaic event a success: many exhibitors who shared cultures from all over the world, performers from the Galvin Middle School Step Team, dancers from Woods School of Irish Dance at the Cohasset Community Center, the CMS entrepreneurship program and so many others. We thank the custodial team at Cohasset Public Schools for their work to prepare the space, and all of the students and teachers who helped set up! We’re grateful for a third successful event and look forward to Mosaic 2026!

About the Cohasset Diversity Committee:

The Cohasset Diversity Committee, an open, volunteer group, was founded in 1995 by Connie Afshar and Susan Etkind with help from other concerned citizens. This group has worked for the past 25 years to create and maintain an appreciation of the value of diversity in our community and to enhance this community’s experience of diverse populations.  Current co-chairs are Aleisa Gittens-Carle, Cohasset METCO Program Director, and Ashley Webb Colleary, Cohasset parent. If you would like to learn more about the Committee, please email Ashley for more information!
