The METCO Directors’ Association invites the community to an evening of joy, celebration, and purpose at Laughter for a Cause, a live comedy event supporting the Dr. Jean McGuire Scholarship.

The event will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwood, located at 1125 Boston–Providence Turnpike. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy a performance by comedian Chris Tabb, whose energetic style and sharp observational humor have made him a favorite throughout the region. The evening will be hosted by Richelle K. Smith, with music provided by DJ Knight, creating a lively atmosphere from start to finish.

Tickets are available at two levels: general admission for $25 and a $40 VIP option that includes a meet-and-greet experience. A cash bar will also be available throughout the event. All proceeds will directly benefit the Dr. Jean McGuire Scholarship, helping support the academic journeys of outstanding students.
